About.

I moved to London when I was 18 to study design at Goldsmiths before starting my career selling suits for Paul Smith.

I have been learning from the industry for the past 6 years. In that time I have witnessed the triumphs (brands that create community and generate cultural capital) and the issues of retail (insane amounts of unsold stock). In launching AES in 2026 I wanted to create positive change based on these experiences and create a place that is authentic and full of character for people to explore their personal style.

I have had fantastic mentors along the way. I was taught made to measure on Savile Row where my love of fabric became apparent. This fueled a passion for designing new, high quality pieces through a continued practice in made to measure, and informed a collection of handpicked vintage focusing on fabric quality foremost, and cut.

Made to measure and made to order are at the pinnacle of what I do. This is where my years of style consulting, understanding proportions and selecting illustrious fabric come together to create something special. All garments are produced through BTI who manage production partners across the world to create handmade tailoring, luxurious Italian knitwear and ensure timely service.

Made to order is my commitment to British manufacturing and craftsmanship. For this collection I design special pieces and work with my own network of highly skilled makers to create limited runs of garments that are made locally, finished by hand and crafted exclusively from British textiles.

I think many people assume tailoring is just for work or weddings, but I think it’s for all aspects of life. That's not to say everyone should wear a suit for just going about life. I want to help people to create wardrobes to the highest quality possible and that fit their lifestyle. A blazer that feels appropriate for the pub, a pair of jeans to rely on for running around, a nice shirt to wear on a third date you’re trying to impress, a good coat to throw over the top of pretty much anything and maybe a suit for when you have special Sunday plans.

Tailoring is a lifestyle, and I’m here to help you to discover your version of it.
